Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, student-centred Mathematics lessons at IGCSE and AS/A Level following the Cambridge Curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to cater to students’ diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles.
• Use effective teaching strategies to motivate, challenge, and extend student learning.
• Embed digital tools and resources effectively to enhance learning experiences.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct in all interactions with students, colleagues, and the school community.
• Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Design and implement formative and summative assessments aligned with Cambridge standards.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Support cross-disciplinary learning and interdisciplinary projects where applicable.
• Incorporate problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative thinking skills into lessons.
• Create a classroom culture and environment where all students are supported in their learning.
• Manage classroom time efficiently and maintain a disruption-free learning environment.
• Contribute to extracurricular programs, clubs, and school events to enhance students’ holistic development.
• Establish professional relationships with external educators and organisations to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Teaching certification/license recognised for the Cambridge Curriculum.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching Mathematics at IGCSE and AS/A Level (Cambridge or equivalent)
